Rajesh Sigdel

I recently completed my Ph.D. in Geography, Environment, and Sustainability at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My research and professional work focus on Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial analysis, and geospatial data science, with an emphasis on supporting planning and decision-making processes. As a member of Dr. Praskievicz’s River and Water Resources Lab, I developed and applied advanced GIS, remote sensing, and spatial modeling techniques to analyze complex spatial patterns and inform evidence-based planning strategies.
